The CBB is the gateway to the Eastern shore/Kent Island (Annapolis, MD to Stevensville, MD) at the most narrow part of the Chesapeake Bay.

Nice view. The Eastbound span (South) is closed for a walk and run every May - we completed the walk several times many years ago. Also, I have seen your view many times while sailing on the Bay but never thought of getting such a good shot.

Very nice work! Used that crossing many a time in the old days during summer.

Thank-you, Charles and LCD! :I am on a learning curve with a new camera. Taking photos on a moving boat adds another challenge!

Thank-you so much! I am always tentative about posting my images thinking maybe they're not good enough.

UT Mike, if you haven't crossed the Bay Bridge for some time, you would be amazed (and maybe distressed) at the changes/growth on the Eastern shore! There is "talk" about another span. Saturdays and Sundays in the summer on the bridge usually mean long delays going west (change-over at shore points) at certain times during the day. Hemingway's was remodeled several years ago; the view of the bridge there and at our marina is spectacular!

Everything old is new aging! In the old days (Late 60s early 70s) we used to set up grills and play volleyball in between openings to cross the bridge.
