Wow! What a deal. Says a lot for the company that they would substitute a much higher end camera than the one you ordered. Most would simply tell you that the one you ordered is out and on back order. Kudos for them, and great for you. She won't regret it. And great collecion, by the way.
The second picture indicates you are a collector, not a photographer!
I'm a Kodak collector and Kodak photographer. Also a micro 4/3 collector and micro 4/3 photographer. Just recently added a 4/3 DSLR to my vintage camera collection, and of course had to take many photographs to test it.
Last week I ordered a Nikon D3400 2 lens kit for our granddaughter to use when we head out for the day shooting. When it arrived and I opened the shipping box there was a New Nikon D7200 with a 18-140 kit lens. I called (not B&H) and reported the mixup and they said the 3400 was out of stock and substituted the 7200. If I still wanted the 3400 the will pay return and send the 3400. B&H still sells the 7200 for almost $1300.00. So I got her a new $1300. Camera for $600. This also makes my 52nd Nikon for my collection. The second picture is some of my nikons and others. Over 300 cameras in my collection.
It isn’t an open box or a referb. Shutter count 1.

B&H did the right thing--as they have always done in my experience. Very impressive collection.
It's based on the photograph. Any half-way photographer would at least have positioned the camera perpendicular to the subject.
A snap shot is a snap shot, is a snap shot and any halfway qualified photographer would recognize one when they see one. A born again critic on the other hand......................
Yes, you definitely won the lottery. But what is more impressive is that you did the right thing by calling the company and telling them what happened.
I can’t tell you how much this makes my heart smile, and restores a bit of faith in humanity.
