Last week I ordered a Nikon D3400 2 lens kit for our granddaughter to use when we head out for the day shooting. When it arrived and I opened the shipping box there was a New Nikon D7200 with a 18-140 kit lens. I called (not B&H) and reported the mixup and they said the 3400 was out of stock and substituted the 7200. If I still wanted the 3400 the will pay return and send the 3400. B&H still sells the 7200 for almost $1300.00. So I got her a new $1300. Camera for $600. This also makes my 52nd Nikon for my collection. The second picture is some of my nikons and others. Over 300 cameras in my collection.

It isn’t an open box or a referb. Shutter count 1.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth! Great luck. But if you decide you want the 2 lens D3400 kit I would gladly trade you straight across!

My goodness, but that's an impressive collection! I recognize a number that I owned when I was a kid. Nice display, too!

The second picture indicates you are a collector, not a photographer!

I think I'll place an order for the D3400 right now and hopefully they'll be out of stock! Great collection you have, are they all relatively new?

Wow! I knew B&H was good, but I never knew they were that good!

Most excellent display of your collection! Mini-museum quality!

You can't be a collector and a photographer? I certainly wouldn't presume to claim someone isn't a photographer based on owning too many cameras.

If you define "new" as "Post War" (WW2 - a/k/a "the big one")

Pretty much the range that most of us Medicare Card Carrying Seniors grew up with - from plastic box cameras right up through the last decade.

That was a particularly disagreeable comment. Any reason you can't be both?

Thanks for asking, My cameras range from 1800’s to present. I still have my very first camera a 1957 Lica M3 that my uncle gave me in 1960 that he bought when stationed in Germany in 1958. My D3 has 560,000 actuations and still running strong. My largest Camera from the 1800’s, the film holder is for a 17”x22” sheet.
