But you just said that "Rules are meant to broken." Now there are exceptions?
Wish she would make up her mind, first she says "no drinking and flying" then she says "no flying and drinking"
I am so confused.
I thought they went hand in hand. can't have one with the other.

I actually ate at one of those New York carts one time - now I know why nobody is stopping there to eat!
Here is a photo of a guy thinking about it though -
There are few things in life better then a dirty water hot dog.
picture number 2 is very cool

Too Busy To Eat
Abby, yes I also love street photography, much easer to do in Argentina than it is here in Tampa... every one is so goosie about being photographed... photograph a child and you are like the Peter Paul and Mary in "Talkin' Candy Bar Blues", a molester suspect... photograph dogs is safer... they only bite. In Argentina, mothers would spit on their hand to pretty up the child's hair... they were honored and not threatened... Baby-Bush Mushroom Cloud Blues is another song I love. Funny funk song by group of same name.
In Argentina no leash law and street dogs were so laid back that they would sleep days on a busy sidewalk know that no one will step on them or kick them... and they were indeed safe. Great place for photographers...
Again, Abby, what was that background used in the wine photo you use?

The background was one of those plastic fluorescent light covers you find in the ceiling of office buildings. ( @ $10.00 at Home Depot )
I put a 100 watt halogen light behind the plastic light cover.
Camera on tripod, wine glass taped to a metal stand, food coloring for the "wine", bucket to catch the water under the glass.
I poured the water with my right hand and shot speed bursts with my left.
Nice rainy day project. ( don't use real wine!)

Happened to me at Virginia Beach. Took a picture of a little girl watching a clown doing baloon animals. Made sure that I did not capture her face. Parents tried to have me arrested. Cops came no problem parents on the other hand big problem. Only solution was to delete image in front of parents. Thank god I did not have my usual stash of candy with me!
Loved eating off the carts on last visit to the city. It's not just a meal, it's an adventure!
Perhaps the "nasty red sauce" is one of the trademarks of Sabrett's dogs, their quite famous onion sauce. Always thought the original was quite good. Hope you did not get a knock-off of the original. Rule of thirds does apply. Third of time taking photos, third eating from street carts, third looking for and thankfully finding a rest room.
thanks abby great info and images.

Give it a try. If you can't get the plastic light cover, you can put the light behind vellum paper - a little harder to find.
