B&W or Color? (P.S. not recommended for purists)
Great shot. I prefer the B&W

Color, only and always. There are only a very few of us who see in black and white, most of us see in GLORIOUS COLOR. If you don't think so just think of a sweeping landscape in black and white with the tiniest feature being bright red or yellow or green. Where does your eye go? And then that same sweeping landscape in color with the tiniest spec of black or white. You won't even see it.
Just think if Ansel Adams worked in color. (I know I'm going to get in trouble for that)
He did but he chose to use B&W for the most compelling pictures of Yosemite. Half Dome is much more dramatic in B&W
I prefer the color only because the sky is so dull in the B&W image.

The featureless sky 'hurts' my appraisal of the color shot, bit not so much with the B/W. With a gloomy or partially (puffy) cloudy sky, I'm choosing color, bit here, B/W.
Another vote for the B&W. I like the rocks to the left of the waterfall in the color picture, but find the large areas of moss on the right of the photo and the dull colors above the waterfall to be very distracting. The B&W draws more attention to the water flows.
Both look good. The B&W looks better.
I prefer the Black and White. I don't think the color adds anything to the image; to me it's a distraction.
Color.
B&W to me is "work." I used to manage a studio, and I also was lead darkroom specialist. I did ALL the freakin' black and white. So, even all these years later, I still equate it with work.
Also, I do see in color.
I would take a look at desaturating the image in varying degrees, leaving at least a hint of color. And 'maybe' a very slight boost in contrast.
Maybe some cropping but I would leave that until last.
I do like the image.

Both are nice. The texture pops in the B&W and i like that one best.

I like the B & W. It just seems to show more detail than the color photo.
