You are correct. It apparently isn't out yet, although the camera's been out about a year. I like them because they're inexpensive, easy to carry in your bag, and quite clear and concise, compared to some authors who dither on and on. The Idiots and Dummies guides are so filled with unrelated and elementary stuff that they're useless IMHO. Get a good book on exposure and a good, detailed guide to your particular model if you're a beginner. If you're in the middle, then one of the more detailed books, like the Busch series, is probably worth it, but they're pretty thick.

Good luck!

Good choice. I've always thought that the Idiot and Dummy books were accurately named, but Busch writes a comprehensive manual. You can always go back and forth, using it as a reference guide when needed and as a basic tutorial for reading.

Hi All - I've just taken the plunge and upgraded from the D3300 to D7500 - my main interests are wildlife/BIF/landscape. I've only had it for a few days so am just practising to get used to it. I've started going through the manual but really need a good guidebook written in plain English as I'm not very good with technical jargon. For the D3300 I had the Dummy book by Julie Adair which found very helpful. There is also a Dummy book for the D7500 by Julie Adair. However, I've also been recommended David Busch's Guide. Amazon UK gives you the opportunity to look inside the books but cannot really tell which would be better for me. Your thoughts/comments much appreciated. Thank you Grace

You are not alone, a friend of mine just bought a D750 FX body as a step up from his D3100 DX. The manual is some 500 pages long and makes little sense to him.

If you liked Julie Adair one book, why not chance her D7500 book?

I picked up the Nikon D7200 Expanded Guide by Jon Sparks and Ammonite Press. You may want to checck and see if they've done one for the 7500, though both units are strikingly similar.

I really like the Busch books. He seems to really strive to understand the camera he writes about and pass that along.
