I've only seen two of the movies you posted. I watch occasionally, TCM Movies, and see movies I remember as a grade school student. I always loved the dancing movies with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall's Dark Passage of 1947. The 1958 Gregory Peck movie, the Big Country. And we can't forget the John Wayne, Bette Davis, Clark Cable, Jimmy Stewart, Gary Cooper, James Cagney movies either. They rarely made a bad movie during their acting careers.

As a kid growing up in the Philippines, we (brother, friends, etc) didn't see much of the American movies for a couple of reasons: 1) most movies being shown in theaters were Filipino movies and 2) couldn't afford the cost of first run American movies. We'd wait till the movie is on its 3rd run theater as it would be cheaper. We'd usually go for war and western movies. Anyways, the following are the movies that come to mind:
1) High Noon (Gary Cooper & Grace Kelly), 1952
2) Shane (Alan Ladd), 1953
3) To Hell and Back (Audie Murphy), 1955
4) Magnificent Seven (Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen et al.), 1960
5) How The West Was Won (several actors/actresses), 1962
6) Psycho (Janet Leigh and Anthony Perkins), 1960. Perkins' acting was superb. Unfortunately, got typecast because of it.
Thanks.

I saw every movie you selected. All great ones. I'll never forget Jack Palance in the movie Shane. A really bad guy he was.

Another freebe on YouTube....If you're into aviation, one of my favorites is a great classic (1953) with John Wayne called "Island In The Sky."
