I agree with you 100%. A movie involving all the "zanies" in search of that, "Big W". They were all great in this movie. The then unknown Peter Falk stood out or me. And so are Phil Silvers, Jonathan Winters, Buddy Hackett, Sid Caesar, Terry Thomas, and Sylvester "I'm coming to get you, mom" Marcus (Dick Shawn). You're right, no way they make that kind of movie again. I dare them.

Yes, Jack Palance was an all-time bad guy in that movie. I still remember as kids, we would play-act the movie, Shane. Everyone wanted to be Shane (Alan Ladd) but nobody wanted to be the bad guy, Jack Palance.

Indeed! Jack Palance ‎(Volodymyr Palahniuk) was one of the greatest actors of all time. He was a "bad hombre" on screen. I was so happy when he won the Oscar's supporting actor for his performance in the 1991 movie, City Slickers, 43 years after his first movie. He would also forever be remembered, at age 73, doing the one-armed push ups on live national TV as part of his acceptance speech. I watched him did it live that night.
