Might as well add my 3 "bosses" of the Morton House...BC. an Ersatz Tom who weighs about 19 lbs and is 10 years old; "Bug" who was left to me by a Hospice pt. I took care of...she is 11 but we have had her for 9 years...she is an Olde Boston Bull Dogge...Helen Keller was one famous owner of this breed; and then there is 'lil Bit, a mini- pin stray who found a forever home with us about 3 months or so ago...We love our furry kiddos very much...Linda Morton
The picture of BC with all the fall leaves is just beautiful. I just love the picture of Bug begging - it's so sweet. She looks so trusting.

Thank you, wolfsmate...BC doesn't play much anymore, but that day he would dive under the leaves and come up looking right at me...he was in one of his infrequent co-operative moods!! he doesn't like the flash and rarely looks at the camera...Bug is undoubtely the best pet/friend I have ever had and is the best natured dog in the world...loves children and plays with them like another child...but...she truly is a shameless beggar...!Your user name is interesting...mind sharing how you chose it? Linda Morton Oh...I love the kokopelli avatar...!!!

Believe it or not, my husband's name is Wolf. It's actually Wolfgang or Wolfie but he goes by Wolf. His mom and dad came to Canada from Switzerland in the 1950's. His mom is German and his dad is Swiss. We have signed all our Christmas letters "Wolfsgang" for years so I thought Wolfsmate was fitting.
I grew up in the Southwest. My house is a mix of Indian, Kokopelli and chili peppers.

I love southwestern decor, esp. the so soothing colors...I have a cedar flute that I like to play when I am by myself...just whatever notes come from inside me at the time..I played flute and piccolo in high school band...and have a smattering of Cherokee in my blood...so I guess that is why I am drawn to Kokopelli. What an interesting history....Mozart's first name was Wolfgang...such a talent...Thanks for sharing...!

Great shots... Black cats can be very hard to photograph at times. I don't know how many I've blown of Spookie our black cat.
Well done....

Spook In A Box
We have three Shih Tzus, all sweet dogs! I have a difficult time getting nice shots of Mitzi. Her dark fur is a challenge!
Manny, our 4 yo male
Mauley, 6 yo, is the boss
Mitzi, 5 yo, just goes with the flow!

Here is my buddy "Hooch" when he was young (now he is about 6 now, and close to 200 lbs); and, he has his own set of rules!
