One of my kiddos - Itsy Bitsy- the other two (Lucy & Ricky) are extremely camera shy.

This is Muffin, ruler of the the roost. She's getting a little long of tooth these days but I still find her irresistable

From what I see of Buddy, he appears to be a pure bred Maltese. If he is, you're very lucky and either there is a heart broken owner out there or someone didn't appreciate what they had. Very unlikely that anyone would abandon one knowingly because they are valuable and in demand papers or not and more importantly truly become like one's child.

Mine doesn't know she's a dog and ignores any other dog she comes across.

They are smart but have a mind of their own and breaking bad habits can be a challenge.

My "baby" is Ezra Thibbedeaux Bibbs. He LOVES people!
He walked with me in the Down Syndrome Buddy Walk last weekend and made a LOT of new friends.

My son is about to make me a grandma... Ezra decided he had to make sure the new baby swing was safe first!

In the last photo... I dressed him up in his Holloween costume to get him used to it before the big day! :-D

What is it about us that make us dress up our dogs?
:D Cute costume.

The picture of BC with all the fall leaves is just beautiful. I just love the picture of Bug begging - it's so sweet. She looks so trusting.

He is the best. He was dropped off on a country road, we stopped at the nearest house the lady that answered the door said she had been trying to catch him for 3 days... posted notes, in the newspaper, at vets offices, no one claimed him... so sad that people do that...

Thank you, wolfsmate...BC doesn't play much anymore, but that day he would dive under the leaves and come up looking right at me...he was in one of his infrequent co-operative moods!! he doesn't like the flash and rarely looks at the camera...Bug is undoubtely the best pet/friend I have ever had and is the best natured dog in the world...loves children and plays with them like another child...but...she truly is a shameless beggar...!Your user name is interesting...mind sharing how you chose it? Linda Morton Oh...I love the kokopelli avatar...!!!

Believe it or not, my husband's name is Wolf. It's actually Wolfgang or Wolfie but he goes by Wolf. His mom and dad came to Canada from Switzerland in the 1950's. His mom is German and his dad is Swiss. We have signed all our Christmas letters "Wolfsgang" for years so I thought Wolfsmate was fitting.

I grew up in the Southwest. My house is a mix of Indian, Kokopelli and chili peppers.

While I have never owned a pit bull, the ones I know are the sweetest dogs.
