It sounds very good to me but i would be careful just in case the add is a spammer,if I agreed to buy I would take a friend just in case (and open the boxes)before i handed the money over.

Ask seller what paperwork he can provide.
While you probably will not see a sales receipt, the existence of manuals, warranty, and other bits is an better indication you are not buying stolen merchandise.
Since the manuals are useful to you, it is a valid question to ask without insulting someone.

I'm asking if the price is good. i dont think its stolen. he has an add on our local craigslist with pics. I would like to know if the price is good or is that its cheap because of the thoughts on it being stolen? or is it too cheap for i would get. i,m confused now lol.

It's a VERY good price, which is why everyone is saying; be cautious.

Buying each part new: Your looking at a cost around $1900 before shipping / tax

So, It would be close to buying all but the L lens new and having that thrown in for free....

Is that a good price? Well, a good deal is when the buyer and the seller are happy. That's a good price / a good deal..

You happy with $1300?

I'm shooting right now with a T3i, and really have been enjoying it! (for what it is worth...)

If your wanting one for the Video, I would drop the extra and get the New T4i with the STM lens. It will allow for auto focus while shooting video ~ the T3i wont.. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/870176-REG/Canon_EOS_Rebel_T4i_Digital.html

And when I'm talking about dropping the extra: you need to be looking for more glass and that is going to cost too....

Ahhh... Sell the body with the 18-55 EF-S lens.. Get the T4i with the STM lens so you can get the auto focus while shooting video...

It's a gamble, on how much you're gonna get when attempting to sell the body and that kit lens, but if you know that going in ~ Have Fun!

And you'll have the T3i to shoot for a little while, as you wait for the release of the 4....

thats what i was thinking. there would be no hurry to sell it so i could hold firm on price.. and i would have a nice t3i to play with. and I'm giving my wife my xti to use as a point and shoot on auto.
