I recall that Ted Turner tried a "Leave it to Beaver" reboot back in the late-eighties. On this new version, the Beaver is all grown up, has kids, but is divorced and has lost his job. Ward has passed away and the boys have returned home to spend time with June, who now lives alone. The Beaver and Wally are sitting in their old bedroom, and the Beav asks, "Gee, Wally, where did it all go wrong??" Wally replies,"I think it started when the Yankees traded Roger Maris."
