Gee's Wolly, where did all the time go?
I'm only seven months behind him. I thought he was younger than me.
I recall that Ted Turner tried a "Leave it to Beaver" reboot back in the late-eighties. On this new version, the Beaver is all grown up, has kids, but is divorced and has lost his job. Ward has passed away and the boys have returned home to spend time with June, who now lives alone. The Beaver and Wally are sitting in their old bedroom, and the Beav asks, "Gee, Wally, where did it all go wrong??" Wally replies,"I think it started when the Yankees traded Roger Maris."

I'm not surprised, being from Idaho.
I never watched the program back in the day but I knew about The Beaver and Jerry Mathers. I grew up in Northern California. We had TV in the '50s.
He's just month and a few days older than I am. Probably wealthier, too.

Mathers played Arnie Rogers, the calendrically chronologically confusing son of Shirley MacLaine's character Jennifer Rogers, in The Trouble With Harry. (Alfred Hitchcock's perversely funny 1955 who-didn't-done-it)
