If you want to risk all the images from your vacation on a single cheap SD card just remember you get what you pay for.

Since you are asking, you already have doubts. Good. No one else seems to think it is a good idea.
Micro SD are fine to use. I haven't tried it, but my understanding is that a Micro SD card formatted on one type of device will not be readable on another without help. You can't just use one in a camera and have the phone read it as they are different platforms. Generally, Android phones use FAT formatting while cards over 32 GB use ExFAT. Windows can read ExFat with no problem but phones don't, even if both are storing JPGs. (I don't know about Apple)

I have one, what's your excuse?
(Geeze, I tried to be nice by saying your punctuation keys didn't work (humor), instead of saying you can't punctuate a sentence worth a crap, but... )
We're done.
Please forgive us, Longshadow. No matter how well intentioned, such comments cause horrible flashbacks. 🙃
Use several 16 or 32gb SD cards it's much safer than having all your eggs in one basket.
Smaller is better. For less than $10, you can get a hardshell, waterproof case the size of a man's wallet that will hold 12 SD cards. When I travel to Europe, I take 2, one empty and one containing 12 16GB fast SD cards. (I also take along a laptop and 2 1TB LaCie hard drives that I back up to daily.) When balking at paying a reasonable price for memory, ask yourself, "What are my images worth?"

Thank you for your comment BHC. I do understand.
I read past 99.999% of the grammar, spelling, and punctuation muffs on any board.
This particular one happened to catch me.
(Not that I have never screwed up!)

Why not purchase an SD card not an MSD . The micro is small and easy to loose, also spend a few more dollars and by a know brand, in fact buy an extra for a backup, when traveling in other countries it always a hassle to find memory cards in an emergency.
One additional downside to the OP's idea (as if there weren't enough already) is that using microSD cards introduces one more connection (set of contacts) that can be a point of failure between the sensor and the memory chips or between the memory chips and the computer to which the images will be downloaded.

While true, since both sets of contacts are gold plated, as long as they are assembled clean, I don't worry about it.
The price on that card is too good to be true. You know what they say about stuff the is too good to be true. Also, it's not any kind of name brand I know of. I don't know who makes it because it just says generic. I wouldn't trust it. But, you don't have much to lose so let us know how it works out for you.

Who cares ? I think this is a photography forum, not an english class.

Than to try to figure out where sentences end and how much of what is part of which sentence? I sure do!
For any "once in awhile or lifetime" trip, I never experiment with new or unproven hardware or software. Stick with what you know. The costs of a disaster are disastrous!

I agree that is why I sad get a life

The plating is not the only issue - contact material is also a big consideration. And the plating on cheap contacts is likely to at least be partially removed on the first mating. My background is as a long time component engineering manager and reliability engineer for a large electronics firm as well as a component reliability consultant for the International Space Station's power system.
While failure of a microSD does not have the dire consequences of that of millions of consumer products or the ISS, anyone who lost once in a lifetime images due to a desire to buy the cheapest components might feel terrible about it.

I didn't say it wasn't a potential problem, I didn't say don't worry about it, I said "I" don't worry about it. Yes, it's very possible that the plating is thinner on less expensive chips.
(Interesting - we have something in common - I was a Component Test Engineer for 25 years who wrote test programs and was responsible for the quality of ICs and semiconductors that went to stock. Also assisting with failure analysis of these in the field and production. But only for a telephone switching systems manufacturer, not the International Space Station.)
