What a nice week of challenges we've had, but I was hoping to see that Fidler on a roof on the Monday to Wednesday "Sunrise, Sunset" play. Even without that it was a great challenge Rolk, and Lavonne, your flower challenge really brought out the variety from around the world. I really enjoyed viewing all the posts. I'm up in Austin today to attend my granddaughter's middle school choir's spring program, and to grill some steaks for a Mother's day dinner this evening.
How about that, Free Sunday is falling on Mother's day this year. Happy Mother's day all and don't hesitate to post up anything. I promise to enjoy, but I may not get to look until I get back to San Antonio later.
Rolk allowed that I could pull out the picture I saw in his picture from the Aruba sunset.
The glint of light on the cloud tops, and the silhouettes of birds and people just drew me into the picture to get a little closer. Thanks for the license, Rolk.

I was just playing around in Lightroom and took this innocent, inoffensive, shot of Edinburgh Castle and by clicking on "aged photo" and maxing out the dehaze feature, turned it into something straight out of "Dracula" or "Wuthering Heights"!

Larry, Have fun. I have a question.....is that a colander on your head in this week's avatar? Happy Mother's Day to the Mom's out there. If your Mom is still with you - love her to death and spoil her. If she wasn't the world's greatest Mom - she still gave you the opportunity to live and be. If she has passed on, remember the memories and the little sayings and habits that have stuck with you" "Always wear clean underwear in case you are in an accident" (If I get in n accident my clean underwear will no longer be clean, believe me!!), "If you can't say something nice about someone, dont say it." "You can stay at the table till midnight if that is how long it will take you to eat _______________(something I didn't like). There are many starving children around the world and be glad you aren't one of them!" Thanks Mom for teaching me manners, setting the example for being hospitable to others, and for being the Mom who was always there no matter what. I don't know how many of your beautiful hankies (which I now have) were soaked from our tears - over boys, over grades, over sibling clashes, over sadness and through great joy. You were the best! And that, folks, is my Mother's Day tribute to my Mom, Minnie.
Well, here I am in mine. Are you starting a trend?
Getting better at capturing ling jump pix - I think
Beautiful sunset the last 2 nights.
A motorcycle whirlygig that someone gave to my husband
Got lots of bluebirds this year.
Happy Mother's Day!
Please accept my early efforts at multiple exposure in camera.

Thanks for hosting again, Larry, and a great job on zooming in on the boat.
The sunrise over Hawaii is gorgeous...hopefully we'll still have one in the future.

Very cool works, Bill. I'm still kicking myself because
back in the mid '60s, our church "encouraged" us to
destroy all our popular music...I know I got rid of
over 100 45's...talk about misguided youth...sigh.

p1 - Very, very cool, Sue!
I hope you don't mind if I "borrow" your techniques...
