Thanks Manglesphoto. I had thought of that, dimmed the wall a good bit, but wanted to retain bit of tonal balance to the image.

We love alt process shots and frequently work with wet plate collodion (and the negatives for salt, cyanotypes, carbon, etc..).

Technically can be done in Photoshop, but it's still not the same. There's something about the time the photographer spends with it in the darkroom that gives it more soul!

Thank you for the compliment. I'd suggest that technically it can be mimicked in PS, not just done. As you well know, it's really not the same.
