Pentax K-S1 DSLR vs Sony Alpha 6000 mirrorless camera

You know the A6000 is the least advanced of that series. The A6500 would be a better camera to experience and compare if you could. Many improved features including IBIS and better focusing system and more. Just saying. I know the OP only has the A6000, which is still being sold, but not up to the specs and feel of the A6500. Cheers and be happy using what you have.

I'm not certain the K-S1 is still in the Pentax catalog, but if it is, it is the least advanced of that series. The $600 K-70 would be a better camera to experience. Vastly improved higher ISO performance is the hallmark of all more recent Pentax cameras; all, including the K-S1, have had IBIS for some time now, and current production are Weather Resistant. Just saying. Cheers and be happy using what you have - taking pictures in the field is always more fun than comparing specs online.
