I'll "bite", especially if you might be Santa. I want an Olympus 12-100 f4 (stand alone walkabout lense), the EE-1 eye sight, and the Olympus 300 f4 plus 1.4 teleconverter. Those are within reach. With a lottery win, I would add the 45 f1.2, 8 f1.8 fisheye, 12 f1.8, and the 60 f3.5 macro. I am now expecting these in my stocking this Christmas.

A lot of those are on my list too:
12-100mm f4
40-150mm f2.8
8mm f1.8
60mm f3.5 macro
Big Tuna 300mm f2.8

Now I just need to find someone to pay for them.

Higher useable ISO - I see no reason to get faster {and heavier} lenses if my next body can provide the low-light performance I need. My current plans are to purchase a Pentax KP, but not for another year, and all kinds of things could happen during that time.

I hope this is a fun topic. While I am not a equipment whore but I do exhibit some whorish tendencies. So my question is what is the next camera thing that you lust for, need or just plain want. I spend most days Just looking on ebay for camera stuff. My latest addiction has been quantum flashes and battery packs. But the thing that I really want is some studio space where I can stretch and use this stuff to my leisure. I also want a Nikkor 60 f 2.8 micro and the 180 F 2.8 lenses, they would make good walk around lenses.

I want a girlfriend whose day job is modeling for Victoria's Secret.
Am I asking for too much?

I would love a DSLR that does not do videos, only stills. Preferably Canon to go with my lenses.

Nikon Df. Too bad about the lenses.

I can dream, can't I? And if history is any indication,
if I was a billionaire I could have my choice of any of them.

Maybe a Nikon 300mm f/4 for travel. The newer small and lighter one. I say maybe because I am really very happy with my current equipment. My high class problem non-problem is picking what kit to take on a particular trip. I spend a lot of time obsessing over this. I like my old all manual Nikon kit, and a much smaller older Leica kit. But increasingly, use newer Nikon digital acquired over the last 5 years or so. I never sold the old stuff and still use it.

I don't really need any of the digital, other than to photograph negatives. And to shoot events for other people, which got me started down the digital trail in the first place . . .

For a lot of reasons, I’d like to have a APS-C DSLR (like the D500) that doesn’t have video capabilities, and given the nomenclature D400. That’s what I would like.
