Unbelievable Unbelievable Unbelievable... On the dishwasher note..... The dishwasher is a great place to wash baseball type caps. Put them on the top shelf w dishwasher soap and put them through a cycle including dry. Come out like new. They are some what damp when you are done. Usually takes a day for total drying.

This naughty Canon must have taken some nude shots so it's getting its mouth washed with soap!

Nice. You don't want to be seen in public with a dirty camera. It can cost $50 or more to have a pro clean a sensor. Cleaning the whole camera yourself is the way to go. If that's harsh detergent, you might want to wear gloves the next time.

Next time you do that, get one of these.

Hopefully, you remembered to take the battery out.

NO! Leave the battery in! We need to shift to clean energy!

I put mine in the washing machine. Tumble dry on “delicate”.

I hope that was Dawn liquid detergent. It's suppose to be gentle.

My Nikons both D7200's have been rained on and snowed on while shooting sports. I shoot under an umbrella but they still get wet. I use two bodies with different lenses on each so I do not change lenses in the rain. One of the parents shooting her kids football never uses and umbrella and her and her Nikon get really wet. I have seen her dry the lens with a handkerchief and continue shooting.

I am hoping you rinsed with distilled water to reduce spotting!

Don't forget the rinse agent in the final rinse.

Dawn, if it's good enough for cleaning the wildlife that I shoot it's good enough for the camera

Do you bathe the wildlife before or after you shoot it?

This guy doesn’t know how to clean a camera; Steel wool- you need steel wool to clean that mirror and sensor.

Know what you mean! I didn't clean my camera for a whole year once. Had to use a belt sander!
