April showers are said to bring May flowers. We've had several showers but not much fog. How about you. Feel free to do the "Archive Dive' if you're not getting any rain. Fog can be tricky. Add "
http://WWW." for an article on capturing fog/mist. Last week - raindrops were falling on my head (remember that song- BJ Thomas?) This is going to be a wet one so get out your boots, umbrellas, raincoats and put a raincoat on your camera and bring on the raindrops.

The forecast was right at the precisely predicted moment...
The rain arrived.
And raindrops were falling on my head
And it poured through the night

Last fall, in Farmington NM, on my way to the Bisti Badlands. Had to pull over; rain/hail/mayhem was so heavy I didn't know if I was alongside the road or in someone's yard.
1. Mount Rainier reveals her majestic presence as the fog clears just after sunrise. Shot from a scenic overlook on State Rte 12, west of White Pass.
2. and 3. Autumn ground fog dissipates quickly as the sun rises. Shot in raw so that I could manipulate the white balance to my whims (and whimsy)

Really nice stuff, Linda. And since you're "from Maine," I expect you've seen some fog there, too. When I lived back East, I went to Maine specifically FOR the fog (and a few other things as well....)

Thanks Cany, that's a very compelling image! I never visited Monhegan (have lived outside Maine for more years than inside, lol), but your shots and MinnieV's annual foray make me want to get back there soon. Photo ops
and lobstah rolls? Heaven!

Linda. Nice foggy photos. Really like the lighting of #3.
Always enjoyed that area around Seattle/Tacoma. Spent a lot of time in Neah Bay at the Majah Indian Reservation rebuilding a radar station.
