At our small man made lake, there are lots of joggers, cyclers, walkers and even a few photo's. Last evening while looking for hummingbird pics, I noticed something that looked out of place.

In all the time I've spent outdoors, I've never seen a weasal before. I couldn't believe it. There are also two red fox in the area.

Some people let their little "poofy" dogs run around off-leash ..

Oh what a unique capture...just loved it!!!

With our mild winter, the voles are litterally all over the place. They will want to come into our houses when the weather turns cold. If you feel bad about the vole, please come get some ... you can have all you want.

Great capture.

I love the soft light on the background rocks too, (but as we've often talked about, I love the light in all your photos).

How lucky you were to be in the right place at the right time for that shot of 'dinner in the mouth'.

:-D

Thank you for your comments. It was a very unique opportunity. Just glad I was able to get some shots that were in focus.
