unexpected critter

At our small man made lake, there are lots of joggers, cyclers, walkers and even a few photo's. Last evening while looking for hummingbird pics, I noticed something that looked out of place.
In all the time I've spent outdoors, I've never seen a weasal before. I couldn't believe it. There are also two red fox in the area.
Some people let their little "poofy" dogs run around off-leash .. :shock:
With our mild winter, the voles are litterally all over the place. They will want to come into our houses when the weather turns cold. If you feel bad about the vole, please come get some ... you can have all you want.

Had an uncle that was killed by a weasal. Ha was walking down the railroad tracks and didn't hear the weasal.
