I’d love to do that, as I have radio programming software that requires Windows to run, so I have to use my wife’s laptop. But if she’s using it, I have to wait. I know that Macs come with “Boot Camp”, which is all I really need. But where do you find a copy of Windows these days?
Depending on the iMAC you purchase, you will be forced to run Windows 7 (older models) or 10 (on later models). The idea of running DOS 6.2.2 on a 27" iMAC sounds great!
Ok, I'll get bashed on this.. but wife loves her 21" iMac..That said, Me I love my 32" HDMI LG, hooked up to my HP 800 Elite Desk, i7, 16GB, 500SSD, 2TB + 4TB + HDMI, Delete Windows 10, Add Winddos 7 Pro, Oh bought from Walmart Refurbished and my speed shop added the SSD, 4TB and HDMI all in.. $900 bucks. The moral is: If your not going Mac go refurbished and add on.. Perfect for my major photo editing including some non Mac SW.. Steve411

Pretty sure mine is the 2011 version. So where does one FIND Windows? I can’t just run into a “CompUSA” store anymore, y’know!
I got my 27” iMac in 2010 & still runs just fine. Upgraded to 32 gbt memory which does help using On1 photo. No doubt about 27” iMac vs.

I bought mine online at Amazon. I found one vendor that was selling the stand-alone license and downloaded the ISO from Microsoft.
OK, UH-ers (not sure what you call yourselves) this is what happened...
"
went to BB carrying the 21" and saw my "dealer", he asked "bringing it back for the 27"?...yup
