Your story put me right smack in the middle of it! Never been on a board.......before. The wonders of modern photography puts your viewer on a board. How far were you from them? Very nicely done.

I like it--it focuses most of the drama on the surfer with just enough of the water to highlight it. I like the ones with a little more balance between the surfer and the wave the best.

I think they are spectacular captures that show the extreme athleticism, balance and control required by these artists. Your crops are perfect.

Brent these are incredible shot as per your usual. To me the waves mean nothing unless they are huge and the surfer is doing great on that wave. Otherwise I am more interested in the surfer him/her/whatever self.
