I was born and raised in Philly, now in Chester County. I was in the first class that started yearly versus 2 classes- Northeast, 1965. Your post is very cool and informative!
For those who care, the Philadelphia School District graduated two classes each year—January and June—until 1966. Our January class was slightly smaller than the following June class. I don't know why our gender makeup was 57 percent girls and 43 percent boys.
Thank you, Dr. Harvey.
The first annual class was 1966. There were both January and June 1965 classes at Olney, so Northeast must have been the same.
I lived in Feltonville from fifth grade through college, but usually trolled Northeast girls.
