Our local camera store has several large boxes of miscellaneous filters in their used equipment area for very low prices... Just isn't much demand or need for most with digital photography.
Best,

Congratulations, you have some fine paper weights there.
Larry, rest easy. I still do. In fact, up early to join a couple of other film photographers. We're going somewhere. Where? I have no idea. I just got a text message from a friend two nights ago inviting me to join another mutual friend and take photographs. So, today, it's exclusively the 4x5.

Could it be......I'll never understand this......Could it be that someone somewhere still shoots with film?
I would say that this is the best answer yet, and the kindest.

Save them and put them on display with your older equipment.
A high school photography or yearbook staff might find them use full.

I gave mine away to a young girl at one of my yard sales. She loved the colors etc. Really made her happy.
Just for fun hook 'em all together, get an stepup or stepdown ring for your current camera. Then go out for some fun and silly pictures of colored papers. How about some green or blue sunrises or sunsets. Our newspaper didn't come today so I am a hellish mood.

Another negative is the 52mm size. But I'll check out eBay for my CC filters, thanks.
somewhat of a negative but they will fit on the yongnuo 50mm 1:8 which uses a 52 mm
Give me an idea on what you would take.
An estimate on shipping also.
I shoot film and b&w
Thanks
J Keith
Yes, there are still some of us who enjoy shooting film. While 4 x 5 film has gotten fairly expensive (compared to what it used to be), it is still a lot cheaper than trying to find a 4 x 5 digital sensor. I am amused by people who shoot medium format and complain that a waist level finder reverses the image. Try making it upside down, too. I don't rely on my photography for income, so I view the ability to understand and use the traditional equipment as part of the "art".

I have about (20) Nikon 52mm color correction filters in various colors. Value at this point, 0.
Hi Fotoartist,
I will give you $1 each if you want to sell them. I have an extensive old Nikon and Nikkormat collection I could use them with.
Thanks
Take one of your kids or grandkids favorite pictures, cut it in the size of the filter and put it between two of the filters. They will love it.

On eBay, they are certainly not "0". They usually sell for $3 to $8 a piece, depending on color. I don't know why there is such a demand for correction filters nowadays... collectors perhaps. But the demand is there nevertheless.
I suspect that the filters are of interest to those using modded cameras to get different effects. I know I have a bunch of them in different sizes. But for standard digital cameras, the colored filters really do not offer any advantages at all.
