Beautiful shots, jederick. We took in the 5 parks, but wasn't able to see everything. All we had was a week so we took in the more common sights, and I attempted to show them in as different way as I could.
Rich...
Thank You very much, Rich, and I'm glad you at least had the opportunity to see the five parks and get some photography in. Plan another trip out west...we're looking at going east again!!

I was just out in that area and had no success in finding any side roads off I-70. It you would, please ID the road you were on. Thanks. I can then take a meaningful side trip the next time I go do Death Valley.
Bob there are several exits off I-70 between Green River, Utah going west towards Salina, Utah. My first photo of the sign was when you began the trip off of Hwy. 10 from the west. This particular one is "Exit 131" and you would take it to the right heading northwest. It is 43 miles on this road to Hwy. 10 and Castle Dale, Utah ...almost all of it hard-pack gravel and suitable for two wheel passenger vehicles. To get to this location, you would go approx. 20 miles to the signed"Wedge Overlook" road and follow the signs. There are many sights along the way to this turn off good for viewing and photo ops...a large petroglyph panel, old swinging bridge, dinosaur footprint etc. Google is your friend and what I use to plan our trips.
BTW, if you took the gravel road south at Exit 131, you could go to places like Swasey's log cabin, several arches, Temple Mountain, Goblin Valley and the list goes on.
Also, you may want to Google the "Castle Country Visitors Guide" for more info and maps on this area.
Now, let us know when you take your next trip and share photos!

Another great set! I appreciate the signs dedicated to explaining local geology. They are a succinct method of helping us understand what's under feet. Thanks for another enjoyable "ride along" jederick!
Very glad you came along and enjoyed our trip as much as we did...always glad to have you along and thanks for the nice comments!!

I Sirius_ly thank you so much for the offer.
I'm not sure if that is feasible, however I will keep enjoying your trips!!!!!
Do you go off hiway 70 to get to the little Grand Canyon? Do you need a four wheel drive vehicle?
Thank You Sylvias...another fun trip with many photo ops. Hope your holiday is going well and you are enjoying some warmth...see where the isles are gonna get hammered with bad weather!

Yes you can go off the I-70 highway at Exit 131 and head north...approximately 20 miles on a good hard-pack dirt/gravel road to the signed "Wedge Overlook" road. Unless you are in severe weather, passenger vehicles are fine for this road...no 4X4 required. See my first post.
