It's a very nice photo. In my opinion if you'd zoomed back a bit and placed the head of the falls lower, instead of no near the top, it would have a bit more eye appeal. Otherwise nice job.

Thank you very much. Although photography is my passion, i'm humble enough to know that for the most part, my photos are just ok. It's rare for me to see a shot in my mind, and actually get it in the picture, the way I see it. It's photos like this, and appreciation for them, like yours, that keeps me looking for that next shot. I bow to you sir. You've made my day. I'd also like to thank the other members of the forum who've been so helpful, and patient with me over the past few months.

I have to agree, natural is beautiful. To distort this photo would do it justice.

I love the fact that the falls are NOT blurred! Everyone has their own opinion but this is beautiful like it is.

Between the townsite of Tomichi, and the historic Tomichi Cemetery, this little side creek crosses the road. This view shows the shallow Spring Creek ford, and the two small waterfalls above the road.
Nikon D5000 at ISO 100, Nikkor 18-55 zoom lens at 55-mm, 0.6-sec at f/36. Not HDR.
I plan to re-shoot with a Circular Polarizing filter to elongate exposure.
