Sylvia, these are gorgeous! How wonderful to get to do what you're doing. Sorry about your toe. Sort of puts a damper on things, no?

Wonderful shots!! #2 and #5 are a little terrifying though. The lion is obvious but the leopard looks like he knows your toe is hurt and you're trespassing! Gary

Pleased you enjoyed them Gary, thank you very much for your generous comments I do appreciate you looking in. I had a high wire/electric double fence between me and the lion/leopard enclosures. I agree grumpy Mr. leopard looked like he was on a mission! Although the Ranger did switch the electric off to allow me get closer to the fence. All good fun.

Today we visited Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre near Plettenberg Bay in South Africa. Three years ago I took the male and female Cheetahs for their early morning walk. Could only book a private visit to photograph the cats today, due to my big broken toe being a pain......

It was great to meet the two Cheetahs again, did they remember me? I was allowed to go inside the Cheetah enclosure.

The White Lion is not an Albino.

Hope you enjoy these pussy cats.

Terrific pussy cat photos Sylvia!

Thank you for allowing me to relive my memories of my Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre visit in 2014! You have reinforced my desire to revisit Tenikwa when my wife and I return to South Africa in May. I will go online today and book a whole day at the Centre!

Did you visit the Knysna Elephant Park or the Wildbird park or Monkey park during your visit to the Plettenberg area?

Best regards, Garth

Wonderful pictures - the white lion is gorgeous!

Pleased you enjoyed them Sue thank you very much for your generous comments, I appreciate them. The white lion was very handsome, although he could have done with a good brush through his mane! I wasn’t going to volunteer.

Gorgeous big cats and beautifully photographed, Sylvia!!! Your captions gave me a chuckle.... I bet you were thinking of Ted while you were with them!!

Thank you very much Angela for your always kind comments and thumbsup pleased you enjoyed the kitty cats! I was looking at the huge paws thinking how small Teds are. Hilary a friend of mine who looks after Ted keeps sending us pictures and today a video of him. It was good to see him munching on his cat treats.
