Excellent capture, Merry, of such a beautiful bluebird.... one that I've never had the opportunity to see in person, so I enjoyed seeing yours!
And hope you get new tenants in your freshly cleaned houses!
I agree, Merry, and you've certainly proved your point by these lovely shots of your sweet little friend! I hope you have plenty of wrenters, and I hope they take good care of the property and don't have wild birdie parties at all hours of the night!

but not "bluebird" blue?
I think it's the most beautiful shade of blue in the world.
we cleaned out 7 bluebird houses yesterday...
i guess i'd better put up the "for wrent" signs.
MT, excellent photos of a bird that gives me fits. I see them all the time around my house but only get a quick look as the fly by.

I never get to see bluebirds except in pics and yours are really nice
They are beautiful birds...you captured them very well.
The blue is beautiful but what I appreciate more is how you captured the delicacy of the animals body.

i'm happy you enjoyed them, angela. thank you. the houses are ready and the "bluebirds only"signs are up.
i read an article on the computer this morning that said bluebirds were making a comback in long island, and then
i looked at the date and it was 1985.lol.

Thank you for your tweet comment donna. I will be patrolling the property daily for unruly wrenters and will penalize them by limiting their mealyworm stash!

Thank you greg. Get some mealyworms for them...they love those wiggly things. You will have to keep them in the fridge though.

Thank you Marty. I hope to shoot the male. He is even more bright and bluetiful.
