I do have a COOLPIX P6000 from about 2011 that is still going strong, so maybe Dun IS correct! I have had very good luck with Sony but since my GAS flared up I don keep them that long! A friend is using my old Sony NEX-7 that is still working fine for him!

I also have an older fuji s7000 from memory. It suddenly started over exposing severly. The movie function still works perfect. The local repair shop, in Timaru, is well respected nationaly, told me its a shutter problem. No parts available. I took him at his word, trusting his experuence, I guess the camera would be 15 years old now. It was tge top fuji bridge in its day. I wonder if the video still works on the OP camera?
Well just had my camera analyzed and it seems to have a broken chip whatever that means. Also they saw rust on the screws on the flash attachment (forgot what that's called). I can't figure that out since I've always kept in the case. Anyway it's off to find a new bridge camera.
