To be fair the branding is less of an issue than the third party manufacturer, which if Tamron or Sigma might be reasonable. Sometimes Tamron lenses have been sold under the Pentax branding and there is often a version with nikon or canon mounts.
In the case of the cameras, the rebranded Sears Pentax and K-Mart Petris were real Pentax and Petri. IDK who made the K mount lenses sold by K Mart, (or Sears, actually, But in the case of Sears,I'm guessing Asahi-Pentax,mostly?) But if K mart were selling the later K-Mount versions of the Petri under the "Focal" brand, a supplier of K mount lenses would be needed, whether that was Tamron or Sigma? I don't have a clue.
In a couple of the photos, I notice that the lens' Serial number reads the same, front to back, and back to front. In those photos I see strange colored lights. This strikes me as exceedingly strange... No doubt the lens is haunted.

Quantaray maybe?
If it is Quandary they are very cheap lenses sold in my area at Ritz camera stores. They would sell people a nice Nikon or Canon body with the requisite nifty fifty and then unload a $79.95 70-210 Quandary good only for making your camera heavier and produce mediocre photos.
if i am not mistaken , quantary was made by sigma , those lenses had extra coating .i have a couple for nikon , and on the pc they are listed as sigma .
Focal QTII--- a par focal zoom lens; it stays focused throughout the zoom length...

Spot on! There's on selling on eBay for $40. . . .
That's it! Mine looks in better shape though. I bought the camera and lens from the grandson of a little old lady who he said only took pictures once a week when she walked to the neighborhood grocery. I believe him - honestly, the camera and lens look like they've got very few miles on them. I'm a lucky soul on this purchase.
