I am thinking about starting a HDR forum here on the UHH. I'm not sure how to manage it, or if I can, but I feel it is needed. HDR is becoming a part of our photography we can not ignore, and there is a lot of great information out there. I would want to be able to let all of us share links, show our photos, and explain how we do it. I would like your input on this subject, and if there is enough support I will move forward with this plan. Let me know if you want a SEPERATE FORUM and would you contribute. I would want only information on HDR, you can show what you used "3-9 photos" and the final product. So let me know what YOU think.
I would be interested and would make an effort to contribute. My tech skills are poor but am trying to improve.

Count me in! I haven't done many, but want to do more.
I've done quite a few, and would also like to see it as an ongoing discussion.

I'll join in, when I get out to do some. Which is not as often as it use to be, or I would like. :)
That sounds like a good idea. I'm surprised we don't already have one. Would you actually have to do anything? Wouldn't Admin just set up a new section, and people would contribute?
Having a separate section would encourage more people to use HDR.
Yes, I would like an HDR section and would contribute. I'm just starting with HDR and have many questions.
I have started this Forum. Go to "Home" and open all topics, and then go to "HDR Photography" I am still trying to figure out how to set up Rules and information, but I should get it finished soon, but you can start posting now if you want to. Thanks for the support, and lets have fun.
A really good idea. There's no reason for people who don't like HDR to keep posting "over-saturated" comments all the time. HDR is not to everyone's taste. Those who don't like it can just avoid the forum.
My latest HDR effort was when we went to look at an area by here that had a wildfire. A few homes were lost. But when we actually looked at the area, the near heroic efforts of the fire crews on the ground, helicopter water dumps and planes that dumped fire retardant were obvious. Fires had burned all the way around so many homes.
The wind was picking up as a storm was moving in - you can see some of the ash blowing around. I jumped out of the car, took four quick pics, processed each the same way in photomatix, and then stitched them together in Elements. Hopefully kept the rain and soot out of the camera.
Thanks for your help, I hope I got it right. If you see anything I need to change please let me know. Sooner or later we need to try something new, so managing a forum will be fun.

ABSOLUTELY!!! I'm still a hack, but I really want to get better at it. I'm using Photomatix right now, but I'd love to see what else is available.
