Some lovely images here.

I just posted this shot on the subject 'yellow' but I'll post it again here as its one of my favourites.

I've not had any problems with yellow and white shooting digitally. But I have with purple - I've found I have to use my max exposure compensation, i.e., two stops less lite, and darken up a bit in PP, to properly show the actual color. Otherwise, it comes up a reddish purple, not true purple.

Lets start a thread to prove them wrong.
Post any yellow and white pics you can find.
Dedicated to Miss Theresa (tilde531) who is suffering badly with slipped discs!

Cheer her up with some masterpieces!

Not sure about a masterpiece, but I do like the yellow and white! I believe this is a zebra swallowtail on my Mexican sunflower (tithonia). Been there, done that with the back and shoulder maladies, injections, surgeries. Hope this brings a smile to tilde and others.

White can be tough, but it's possible if exposed properly and taking lighting conditions into consideration.

Here are a few white birds from this week.

Hope Theresa is feeling better!

Many good wishes for rapid healing-- hope all these photos help. These are Tiger Swallowtails "puddling" near Lake Superior.

I thought I would go with the bird theme but sadly the light was awful because it was blooming RAINING!!! (for a change)

Hopefully all these different shots will cheer her up but what a pity the flowers do not give off their own individual pong!
