Thank you for looking! We saw very few bears on this trip, but on our June trip we saw them daily. I had not seen a moose since 1988 in Yellowstone, but on this venture we observed a total of 17 including the Tetons . Lamar Valley was good to us particularly in the Round Prairie area and north.

Yes and I believe it is referred to as a cinnamon colored black bear, but I am no expert for sure!
