so they are benching Manning, he won two super bowl titles for them. how?? because they built a winning team around him.why not now? just look at the patriots as an example. they are willing to spend the money it takes to build a winning team , year after year. look at the other winning teams, the same thing. now look at the poor Lions or the sorrier Browns. the lions have a great quarterback, but the owners won't spend the money to get the backup players he needs.
1 a better front line
2 a few better receivers
3 a couple of good backs to give them a running game.
as for the Browns,I just don't know. it seems with 16 teams, there are just not enough quality players left to form another winning team. so sad.
Who cares, With all these sorry ass players taking a knee these days and management being a bunch of pussy’s i can care less.

and what can management do? that would not be violating their constitutional rights?
There are lots NFL rules against these kinds of activities the commissioner just won’t enforce them because he’s a coward. These that protest most I think most just follow others and don’t have any idea of their own. The Rufuss that started this nonsense his gripe was as he claims it was police injustice, and now it’s every thing and every excuse that someone can think of, it’s become silly. The players on these teams are paid employees when on the field, do you think you would have your JOB if you got up in you office and protested some BS thing I don’t think so you might be fired or put on some type of disiplanary action, so don’t give me this BS about your constitutional rights.

Hey TROLL, there's only one word that's misspelled, and, his grammar is not good, but I guess you had to put this in, just because you're "sort of liberal", eh ?
Gee how easely you hi-jack my post. there must not be any lions, giants, or browns fans out there today.

Once again the arrogance and rudeness of the New Yorker comes out.

What does grammar have to do with the importance of what he is saying ? Is Kaepernick your man of the year ? Did I spell that right ?
Hey, let’s not insult all New Yorkers. I am a Brooklyn, NY resident and totally agree with Richard. Haven’t watched a football game since this has started.
Perhaps the NFL puts up with all these shenanigans because they’re looking to find a new audience ? The snowflake generation should have no problem using the American flag as a doormat .
Let’s face it , the generation that made the NFL is gone . The generation that made America is gone .
The 21st Century will test this nation more than any World War could .

Eli Manning, most likely will not be with the Giants next year. The writing is on the wall, just like it was to his brother, Peyton, who had a neck injury, and the Colts thought he was done. He later went to two Superbowls as a Denver Broncos. Peyton had one Superbowl loss and one win with his new Denver team. I don't think Eli will be so lucky. Eli most likely will accept a trade or retire. Or end up in the broadcast booth like Tony Romo. The two are about the same age. It's a sad ending. The Giants want to build a new generation of players. Without Eli.

Don't care about the NY comment, but I have not watched a minute of pro FB since all this. They are there to play a game and entertain me, not enforce their BS political opinion on me.
