Stop!! Really. Do you somehow feel superior??
Well folks thank you for defending me I do appreciate all of you.
And I apologize for all my mis spellings and lack of punctuation’s marks.
What really gets me is the lib-a-turds on this site and the crap that comes out their mouth. But I do like a good dialogue now and again.
The players on these teams are paid employees when on the field, do you think you would have your JOB if you got up in you office and protested some BS thing I don’t think so you might be fired or put on some type of disciplinary action, so don’t give me this BS about your constitutional rights.

Haven't watched or followed any game or team since pre-season.
And now the NFL is forking $100mil to these idiots.
Spoiled millionaire ingrates.

Constitutional rights are meant for specific grievances. Protesting the National Anthem does NOT address the purported grievances against the Negro race. These overpaid anti-American as*h***s should be deported to one of their Communist/Marxist ideal countries. They are vastly unappreciative of the wealth and fame that this country has enabled them to have.

Any Steeler fans out there? They haven't won a Superbowl in a while but at least some of the Black and Gold run OUT of the locker room to stand tall for the anthem. That's a real winning team in my book!

Constitutional rights protect citizens from their government, not their employer's workplace rules. The league and owners could well put a stop to this if they wanted to! Just like dress and behavior codes in any other workplace! Players are employees, pure and simple. They are compelled to comply with other rules of the league and fined, or otherwise punished, when they break them. Why don't the owners adopt a "Respect the National Anthem" rule for their sport, and fine or suspend players who violate it? The answer is $$$$$! As long as fans are willing to put up with the players crap, it will continue. When fans quit coming to the game, buying team merchandise, and watching the sport on TV, the league and owners will wise up and realize they can and should do something about it! I, for one, no longer watch football!
Telling employees how they are to act while on the job is a constitutional right.
