Totally agree, Bill. Nice buck AND nice images. We have a couple that live around here almost all winter - right in our "little piece of the country" in the city.

Yes, I also agree. With one exception...If you actually need food for the table, then hunting for it is a necessity.

I agree and you got a couple of nice ones here.
Nice muley I live in a state that has a lottery system for license's have enjoyed the hunt for 50 years but now my camera fills that need when unable to get a tag partialy due to it's more about getting outside than putting food on the table
The deer agrees with you. Nice set!
You can only shoot them once with a gun

Agree 100%. It's to bad the animals can't shoot back. Maybe then there would be a lot hunters since then they would be to scared. Nice shots...Rich

Thats the understatement of the year. I could never figure out why hunting is called sport. One side has artillery and the other side has nothing, nothing sporting about it. Excellent photos.👌👌

Wonderful Bill really like #2, were you using a tree stand by chance?
Nice pictures of some good looking bucks.
I'm not a hunter. It's just something I didn't grow up around. Done properly, going by the rules I have no problem if you want to hunt. It's not about needing it for food. It's about learning the skills of tracking, stalking, shooting. It's also about the camaraderie among hunters. Those are good things too.
Beautiful bucks. As a vegetarian since 1999, I must agree.
Had my first doctor visit in several years in October, complete with lab work.
Everything came back normal so I don't guess doing without meat has caused any harm.
I hunted with rifles and shotguns for the first 35 years of my life. Ate what I killed. I now hunt in the blind with my son-in-law. I carry my Canon and he carries his Mossberg. Great captures!

I'm not a hunter, but my s-i-l's siblings got three deer over Thanksgiving at their parents' farm in East Texas, so my daughter and s-i-l came home with some venison for the freezer. Those East Texas deer are not nearly so majestic as the buck you "shot!!"
Probably because the East Texas deer are most likely whitetails and the deer in the photos are mule deer which are generally larger!
