As stupid as this looks it's not as bad as their last "fad"; spitting. That was down right gross, watching a group of teen guys walking and spitting every 20 feet....

I don't understand the comments. Often (age, too much beer, too much food) adds fat between the muscles and the skin, causing the anterior (front of) the abdomen to protrude as the waist expands. If the belt is fastened tightly enough at expiration it will hold the pants up, allowing adequate oxygen intake. The problem is that he must expire; as a mixture of oxygen and carbon dioxide leaves the lungs, the abdomen contracts; the belt is now too loose, and the pants fall down unless held up---by hand or suspenders. Alternatively, if the belt is tightly fastened at conclusion of expiration, the lungs lack room to expand adequately. To me it seems mostly like a mechanical problem. Of course, if thoracic (chest) breathing can be done (very often, young, normal weight men) that's the best way. [Ed's observations on how to breathe.]

Not holding my breath on that! The young, and younger ones don't even respect their parents. Besides the fact that today's generation are killing each other, and their parents. Something that a good old fashion spanking would have prevented. Notice I didn't say abuse. I know there is a difference.
