Welcome to Day 190 :) Today it's supposed to be all about busses .. mass transit. Unfortunately for me I spent all day waiting on the cable guy and by the time he came to our house it was dark .. so I didn't get out to take any photos. I have no examples to post at this moment.
So Lets make it a freestyle day. Just post anything that you want to share .. I'll get out later on today and shoot something LOL ... :) I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with on the spur of the moment.
hmmmm i dont think I have a bus
but I must have a train????
How about a subway
Yesterday I did what I call a ''wandering shoot'' and it is one of my favourites. I took off on my bike and shot subjects that are nothing outstanding, but more like the things we see while passingby in a car and say to ourselves, ''Oh well, too late I'll be back'' and naturally we don't go back. On a bike we are pedaling and time does not count, so I stop have a drink of water and find stuff that I'll shot and probably throw away later on...LOL.
I learned this when I began doing cycletouring, but found it time consuming because I was always stopping. Vermont is 175 miles long and can be done on a bike in 2 1/2 days, took us a day longer.
The Alcide Cantin Farm
The sun light up these tanks real well
Clotheslines are always a nice subject
The old Cadoret farm
If you look closely you'll see a haybale shooting back onto the wagon
Now I'm not supposed to be up here. They are putting in a pipeline and there is an access road right next to the line and the line will cross a RR track and along thistrack are raspberry, blackberry and blueberry patches, but it is a mile walk from the crossing and by going along the pipeline it is much shorter. We'renot aloowed on the site, but hey...they work 40 hours a week and don't sleep there.
Taken from the pipeline
you are a devil in disguise RR...there are no boundaries for a rambling man.
Now how do you keep your camera from banging into the handlebars when you are riding???? I have not figured that out yet

Several ways. A bag attached to the handle bars, or in a sack on the rear wheel or else slung like a pocketbook with strap around the neck and under the arm. I prefer the latter, with camera laying on my back, but it needs adjusting now and then.
I am sadly lacking in busses but will post what I have and come back with "freestyle" later - probably much later :) (These were taken with an iPhone)
A familiar sight
The yellow bus that "vacuums" up children and takes them to places of higher education
Big steps, huge backpack, little first grader
An ugly converted bus ahead of us - we're waiting to get into the State Park beach.
A photo comment on our wet weather this summer. We have had so much rain recently I have taken it as a personal challenge to take a picture of the rain falling down. In this picture you can see it coming down at about a 45 degree angle. The background of the blue garage door and side of the truck show the driving rain. By the way today is a beautiful sunny day.
And secondly our handsome black cat Shakey.

Oh, What Fun It Is To Ride!
Trolley Museum-Branford,Ct.
Creature shadows!
How about small creature shadows? Small creatures throw big shadows! a lowly small slug throws a big shadow! and butterflies are always beautiful to me,and so are their shadows! Yesterday a Question Mark or a Comma butterfly. I'm not sure which it is.

I am so sorry you are having cable issues... I hate it when that happens..and it always up to ME to handle those things around here...But.. I'm sorta glad I don't have to round up Bus pictures. Our local buses here are ugly.. But I freewheel it..and post in a bit..
