Who is Ansel Adams, you ask? And you call yourself a photographer. Google his name and find out. OY!!
See his photos. Even one or two will amaze you if you asked who he was.

I'm enjoying him on AGT, but he's not Don Imus. :D
I don't think Howie and Sharon would tolerate Imus
They tolerated Piers Morgan, and he had a strange way about him.

I have to think that Howie handled Piers pretty well.
Probably wasn't a night went by that Piers didn't check to see if Howie was under his bed before he went to sleep :).
I'm sure he and Sharon made sure Piers thought it was his OWN idea to leave the show - - :)

I just cannot get over the idea that, for whatever reason, Ansel Adams and Don Imus are mentioned together in a topic on this forum!
Read from beginning about Don Imus mentioning he had bought Ansel Adams camera, and just like playing telephone, the conversation took a turn all of its own.

A turn or a zig-zag? rofl
"Well, people have asked me what kind of cameras I used. It's hard to remember all of them. Oh I had a box Brownie #1 in 1915, 16. I had the Pocket Kodak, and a 4 x 5 view, all batted down. I had a Zeiss Milliflex. A great number of different cameras. I want to try to get back to 35 millimeter, which I did a lot of in the 1930s. Using one of the Zeiss compacts. In the 20s and into the 30s, I would carry a 6-1/2 x 8-1/2 glass plate camera -- that was a little heavy. And I had a 4 x 5 camera, then of course we went to film, to film pack, things became a little simpler. . .I guess we all did the best as we could. If we had very heavy cameras we simply didn't go so far or take so many pictures. Knowing what I know now, any photographer worth his salt could make some beautiful things with pinhole cameras."

If you get the chance to see it there is a great program on PBS all about Ansel Adams, his life and his work. Plenty of shots of his greatest photographs. I'm looking for a coffee table copy of a book of his photos. Incredible B&W photography and dark room magic.
