Don Imus a Radio & Tv celebrity purchased 3 Hasselblads at auction in New York City several years ago,belonging to Ansel Adams.If I remember correctly,the were over $100,000.00 each.Mr Imus is a photo enthuisist,who published a book containing some wonderfull photos.Just a bit of trivia.Hope you liked it.

The auction was handled by Skip Cohen, Presedent of Hassleblad, USA at the time. The procedes went to charity.

Very true... I was listening to Imus(inthemorning) the day he told about buying it (them) and the price you quoted is correct...
His photo book was titled "Two Guys Four Corners"... It was photos that he and his brother (forget his name, and who died last year) in the four corners of NM, AZ, Colorado, and Utah... I've seen some pictures and Imus and his brother are excellant photographers.. Always wanted a coppy of the book , but never saw one for sale.. It wasn't cheap !

Now wait a minute. Ansel Adams used these cameras and took fantastic photos. Imus bought the cameras and took fantastic photos. Maybe it really is the camera that makes the difference. :D :D
