My confession of infidelity.......

I too must confess that after a pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of B&H I came home with a Sony A6000 mirrowless with a sack of Sony lenses and accessories on the back of my mule. It was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. I felt totally reborn.
Thank you for your patronage and glad you enjoyed our little camera shop. Let me know next time you plan to visit.

I have to agree with a couple of the others in this thread.... if you go with a Nikon, you will not have the urge for such wanderlust. :-) JK of course. I have several types, although most enjoy my Nikons that take the majority of awesome photos!

Much "nachas" on your purchase of the A6000. Now you have to find an 18-105 "G" Sony lens with it. That is what will really tune you into the promise that Sony delivers. Even when I upgraded to full frame I kept the 18-105 (APS-C) because I could not bear to part with it. Now that is fidelity!!

With Yom Kippur over and my confession of all of my sins hopefully having been accepted, I have one last confession to make to make to the membership. I have once again dipped my toe in the water of a strange of a strange body. I have, for many years, been a Canoneer. I did slip several years ago and acquired a Pentax k-r and later, a k-5. Most recently, I have again displayed my weakness and I bought a Sony A6000. Is there a Photo-Therapist on this Forum that can help me curtail this wanderlust?

Here's the question. Have you regretted any of those purchases? If not your sins are forgiven.

The 18-105 G OSS was one of my 1st purchases. Then the 135/1.8 Prime, then the 150/1.8 Prime, then the..............it just gets worse and worse. How do I stop the madness?

I'm reminded of an old saying that goes, "Variety is the spice of life."
You have joined a growing church / synagogue of converts. Many, as myself, still dabble in the old testament teachings of DSLR's, while a smaller and more apostolic group continues to spread and preach the word and new testament of MILC's.
Whatever your former indiscretion(s), a trip to the holy site of B&H will immerse you into either world and you shall be saved.

I suppose by your definition, I'm cheating with my mistress Fujina on my spouse, Nikonea. Nothing wrong with a little "on the side"-- with photography only, of course....
My pleasure. Chag Sameach (Happy Holiday)

Feel free to send me your evil K-5, I could stand a back-up spare.
I could confess as a Catholic, lusting for other brands too: Nikon F3, F4, Canon A1, F1, and once was very tempted by a Nikon FM2. But I never gave in. I only mix my photography and cross-over to the dark-side with
Nikon and Schneider View Camera and Enlarging lenses. But I do have a
Canon PIXMA Pro-9000 Printer!
