It seems that in the early fall I start to get emails about the 5DayDeal. This is always advertised as an all-new Complete Photography Bundle with lots of courses, presets, info, etc, that if bought individually, would cost thousands, as opposed to their bundled "deal of about $100".. I just received the email that the deal is coming again, mid October, for 5 days only. Has anyone purchased the deal in past years, and if so, has it been worth it? And if you have received the emails, and decided to pass..why?

I do not like bundles. They load them up with a lot of stuff you don't need, and a lot of it is pure junk. Buy what you need when you need it is my humble opinion.

It's from a vast group of photographers. They don't tell you what is in the deal until the minute they release it on Oct 13. You would have to "google" "5DayDeal" to see the list of people, stores, etc that are participating. You have until Oct 18 to decide if you want to purchase or not. Once the 5 days are over, the deal is gone.

The deal is a deal in someones mind.

But who is it from and what does it cover.

Do you even need it if it was a complete freebie???

Hey you said the touch started out with, the deal has returned.

If it returned once it will return twice.

Do you need what the deal offers.

If the deal is not shared so you can honestly evaluate it then let it pass.

If its a realy really good deal it will be back.

Never heard of it, but you could go ahead and buy it then tell us about it.

It just seems like a lot of work to find out that the bundle is all "bundled up"

Yes, I am on their mailing list as well and got that e-mail today. I've had their offer for a few years now every time they run a promotion. I have not bought anything so far. Seems while it looks enticing it's a lot of stuff I have no use for and would end up with a lot of clutter.

If I can be of any help, I'm glad to. I own 5DayDeal. :). (With my husband.). The bundles do include a lot of stuff, and you definitely won't use all of it unless you are into every area of photography or are looking to branch out into another area or two. It's designed to have enough products in each genre to be a great deal for everyone. For example, if you're into portrait photography, there will be several courses and tools to further your craft and help you take better portraits, that, if you bought even just those courses alone, the cost would be several hundred dollars. The bundles are ALL NEW every time. We do not repeat products. So, truly, once the deal is gone, it's gone forever. If you have questions, I'm happy to answer, or you can email us at support@5daydeal.com. Hope that helps!

Purchased the 2016 offer.
They give a portion of the profits to some charity, but do not recall which charity it was last year.
That did have a bearing on my decision to buy.

Lot's of info ... pdf's, videos, course's, textures, ps actions, lr presets, etc...

My download was 28.9 gb with 1117 files.

I think I got $100 worth, though I have not or probably will not use a lot of it.

I'm not suggesting that you are using UHH inappropriately, since another member mentioned your offer/service. However, perhaps you would be willing to clarify the nature of your offer, precisely what is included, and a break down of the pricing/savings item by item.

Is that a fair and reasonable request?
