She lost the election, because Trump voters voted for change and hope. Sounds good, and there's been change all right, but a lot of negative change that is difficult to defend. The "fully embedded in the system" was not an outright endorsement, but meant that we would have more of the same, bad as it was, but not the seemingly downhill path we seem to be on currently, with losing our prestige with essentially every other country in the world, except Russia, the loosening of environmental and safety standards that will eventually cost American lives - the list goes on. "More of the same" would have been preferable to what we're getting now. It may feel like a "breath of fresh air" now, but it is rapidly becoming stale. It's not going to get better, because he is an amateur politician, he doesn't know how to pick good advisors and he doesn't trust them, and he doesn't know how to think in depth about anything. His spontaneous outbursts on Twitter prove this. Sure, he is honest about his feelings, but they are not the feelings of someone who knows what he is doing. And his honesty is skin deep. He has lied more than any other President in history, so far. More than 300 times - you can look it up. The lists say what the lie was, when he said it, and what the truth of the matter is, and we're not talking opinion here. Many times he said one thing during his candidacy, and then did something else while in office. Trump voters were conned.

The ACA has problems, for sure, but one of the best things about it was the availability of medical care for pre-existing conditions. The Trumpcare attempts saved money by taking out the money for pre-existing conditions and giving it all to the very rich! Really? The rich don't need any more money, and it has been proven that any positive effects on the economy would be minuscule. Removing the pre-existing part will cause many people to die. This is not an opinion. You can look it up. If it was a serious attempt at repealing the ACA, they would have used the money saved to improve it in the ways it needed improvement. The Republicans were rabid about the repeal - they didn't care one bit about the Americans affected, except themselves and the very rich. The Republicans had at least seven years to come up with a better plan, with no ideas. What's wrong with them? The idea that they could, or would, fix it after repeal goes against reason.

"We need to elect new people that (sic) can and will work for our welfare and step over party lines." True, but, unfortunately, Trump has shown himself to be incapable of either action.
