OK, here's a picture of my French cat, Korky. We didn't have the eclipse in France, so be happy!

.........which is why one should list a descriptive Subject line. As an example -- I would have skipped this one.

And for Bill Clinton and Trump, it is whoever catches my eye

You are right, I was most interested with the guy on the Mountain tain taking photos of the shadow coming across the valley, he had forsight into something different. The photos if the eclipse were great but then everyone did that!

Wait -- soon we will be back to just cute cat photos.
Think of this as a break from the plethora of Internet cat photos.

Now here is an example of an eclipse image that rocks. Hopefully, the link to this Facebook page will work...

Wow Scott, the best one I have viewed thus far. Thanks for posting! I viewed a few images of the eclipse and have passed on the rest, as they are all pretty much the same. The key word here is 'passed', and I didn't feel the need to start a thread whining about it. Many enthusiasts are proud of their images, which they should be and I can appreciate their effort, but after viewing a few the rest are somewhat redundant and I just click on another topic. It's not rocket science!

I thought this was an open forum and anyone could post what they want within reason, just put it in the right section. So who are you (or I) to determine what or how many posts can be repeated.

That's odd! I photograph macro, birds, animals, landscapes, buildings, cars, flowers, bugs, sky, reflections and seldom shoot people. Plus I like strawberries. B^)

Ahhh, that must be the cause of what we like to shoot. Good taste = people photography = no strawberries... bad taste = likes strawberries= everything else.

Wonder if the government will pay us $billions to do a study......just because it's sooooo important. LOL

The Government has spent more than that in dumbass studies, and got less! I say let's do it! we could call it, "THE STUDY TO INVESTIGATE SHUTTER CLICK NOISE ON FUTURE UNBORN EARTHWORMS"!
