trump's business empire might consist of over 500 companies, but it's a house of cards just waiting for a strong enough breeze to come along and blow them all down.

Those businesses don't have enough cash flow to pay their day to day operating expenses.

The occupancy rate at their hotels are off.

Mar-A-Largo just lost 7 sizeable charity event bookings in the last wedk, because philanthropists have told the charities to find locations that aren't owned or branded by trump or kiss those large donations good bye. Those philanthropists won't have anything to do with trump the racist who supports the KKK, Neo-Nazi's, or White Supremacists.

You know, when people are in error, they need to be corrected, not put down with pejorative epithets. It makes you look desperate.

I spent some time on this subject. First, his businesses went bankrupt only four times, that I could find out. Because he brands his businesses with his name, when they go bankrupt, his name is attached to the news of the bankruptcy - "Trump went bankrupt." This has lead people, including myself, to conclude that it was himself that went through the process. He survived these bankruptcies, because he did not personally suffer the consequences of bankruptcy. In fact, the businesses did Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which is reorganization, not total loss of everything. So I stand corrected - thank you for making me do some research on this issue.

He may have over 500 businesses, but he has little, if anything, to do with the day-to-day operations of these businesses. And he apparently was not in control enough to prevent the heavy cost overruns that the bad ones had. That is not being a good businessman. His businesses are essentially completely handled by other people.

I tried to find if any other wealthy person, or their business, had gone bankrupt even two times, but I could not. Warren Buffet, one of the richest people in the world ($79 billion), owns many businesses himself, and has only gone bankrupt once. Many people lose a lot of money during bankruptcies, and the fact that Trump sees no problem with this, and, for some reason, thinks that this is good business - it certainly is not fair or ethical. It is predatory capitalism. How can a uncaring mentality like this make for a good politician on any level?
