Sorry but you have a short memory. "Hope and Change" was the other guy, the last 8 years.

Trump didn't say "hope and change," but everything he said leaned that way. He was going to change essentially everything. The major reason Trump voters say they voted for him was for a change from the usual, according to everything I ever saw or heard. When you want change, you also hope things will get better. The two terms go hand in hand, thus my statement to that effect.

Do you wear your tin foil hat all the time or just when you post here or go outside?

Pres. Trump actually cares about America, keeping us safe and for once, a President with testicles who won't be bullied by terrorist. He supports our Military and our Police!!! Wow, how refreshing after 8 years of just the opposite. !!!!!!!

Turnover is good. Get new ideas, a fresh perspective, public and private ridicule, become the butt of a Saturday Night Live sketch. Why in the world would anyone agree to work in this White House? They are (justly) mocked and ridiculed in public, and then they're fired.

Unless you're a Democrat. How many times does that party get mocked in the press or late night sketches? Did we hear much mocking about Benghazi? Nope.

By the way, this is an aside, but have you really critically and honestly looked at the 3 late night "comedy" shows on now? What a waste of an hour. I long for Johnny Carson again and there will probably never be another comedian as great as he was. This current tribe is a bunch of dolts, unless they have improved lately. I stopped watching about 3 months ago.

Nothing like the current choice. Whatever faults she may or may not have, she's a fully embedded part of the system, and wouldn't have been the loose cannon we now have. She would have been predictable and consistent with her policies. Whatever you think of her, she would've been a professional. Trump is not even a good amateur. Many of us who have zero interest and experience with politics would've done a much better job.

Benghazi?

If you want Salamander or anybody else to kiss your ass, you have to take your hat off.

The only way this does not happen again is getting involved early and often. As scary as it sounds we need to engage and encourage young people to get involved. Our countries history is proof that we are at our best when things are at there worst. The two houses have to put politics aside and not let this narcissist tear everything apart.

The investigations into the Benghazi event cost us taxpayers millions of dollars with no legal findings worthy of indictment or even censure. And besides, the CIA is responsible for embassy security, maybe that's why. For some reason, it was never mentioned that during the Bush Presidency, 13 American embassies were attacked, and 66 people were killed. Why wasn't this brought up? As a result, few people even know about it. Doesn't this fit the definition of hypocritical?

Thanks for your support. A good response - I'll have to remember that one.

If Trump just corrects many of the problems Obama caused ( like weakening our military and destroying healthcare) he will have done us a great service.

He should have taken a cue from the , IMHO, greatest Republican president, Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln actually found a lot of his appointees very disagreeable but he kept them because they were very good at what they were appointed for. He put the welfare of the country above his distaste for certain individuals. President Trump I fear is quite the opposite. If you don't play butt kisser and yes man or woman you are gone.

In all fairness, he didn't know Lincoln was a Republican.

When we allow a Morally Bankrupt person to represent our country we have really lowered the bar. We had to horribly flawed candidates to choose from because we did not pay attention early enough.

He is no doubt a wiz when it comes to running a business, where he has no checks and balances, nor a press to hold him accountable, but he does not have a clue as to how to be the President of the United States! Period. Also, very sad. Someone needs to take his tweeter away from him.

WHIZ??? LoL
Without daddy's money, the "whiz's art of the deal would have come to a screeching halt at the first bankruptcy, let alone the second!!

Were he a corporation he would have been fired by now. He doesn't even have CEO experience. He went directly from a reality show boss/actor to president. The result of that is now painfully clear to all!!!
