Yep, mine too. What engine? 389 with tri power or 4 barrel?

I wish I had taken down the specs on these vehicles, but I didn't; sorry.
Very classy car!. I was just working on a 1968 Shelby GT 500 KR 428 convertible Mustang (original owner) unrestored this afternoon. That is my current favorite classic muscle car. The gal that owns it got it as a high school graduation present. Her dad thought it would be safer since it has a roll bar.
Gorgeous car. I had a 1966 GTO back in the early 80's. Wasn't a rag top though. I also had a 1965 Catalina, bright red with white interior and white rag top. Both cars had 389 with a 4 barrel. I sure do miss those cars...
Me too. Mine was a '68 Firebird with a slightly punched out 400. The Quadrajunk was replaced with a Holley double-pumper and the 4 on the floor made it scoot nicely.
Ironically, it was the fastest thing I've ever owned but not what got me in the most trouble. Long live Pontiac!

Nice. I've seen a few driving around, now that the weather is nice. Funny, but it used to be all young people driving cars like that. Now it's old men.

My first car was a 1965 LeMans purchased in 1966. It came with a 326/2 barrel and a 3 speed.
Since this was in the 60's and everyone I knew had a muscle car, it wasn't long before I had a 421 2+2 with 3 deuces, 4 speed and 411 rear.
We had a great time racing in Englishtown NJ, as well as Island Dragway, and any highway were the urge it us!
Great times and wonderful memories!
Now I have a 74 Vette with a slightly modified 454 that my grandson is going to inherit.
very nice, I'm a 65 goat guy. loved that car
I had a 65 GTO with a 389 tri power. I installed a Crane cam. It was very fast. I wish I still had it.
I was looking to buy a 65 LeMans/GTO during my middle age crisis, but couldn't find anything in my price range (at least one that didn't require a complete overhaul).
That's how I wound up with the Vette!
I too wish I still had my 65.
