Thank you very much Greg, the lake is actually in the Yukon, Kluane Lake. I wasn't alone, my wife was with me, it was a delayed honeymoon. Before getting to the border we helped a guy getting his trailer out of the mud, he thanked us and said " I hope you're not staying in Alaska, everyone in Alaska becomes an alcoholic, look at me after 20 years up here all I have to show for is this trailer." We assured him we are going back to SF.

Kluane Lake is a very beautiful lake, and when it's sunny out, the water is nearly an emerald green in color. It's got to be calm, though. We've always enjoyed driving around Kluane Lake. And Muncho Lake is also pretty nice, too.

Great story about the guy, trailer in the mud, alcohol! It adds even more to the photos. I love a good story along with photographs. Thanks for that!

You are right, I got some nice sun rises there. It seems folks like these old b&w Alaska pictures, I will post some more in the future. Sadly I must have lost a bunch while moving years ago.

Thank you very much, at that time Anchorage was a small town and every second door was a bar, maybe that was the cause?

Thank you very much Sylvia, I would rather had a Rolls but this one was much much cheaper. Cheers.
