Alaskan Reflections in B&W 1961.

Just scanned these from 6x6 negatives, they were taken with an old Rolleicord twin lens camera. I took the month of May off from work and drove from San Francisco to Anchorage and back on the old gravel and mud Alaska Highway, it was a great adventure, needless to say.

Springtime in Alaska, I found out convertible's are not useful in Alaska.

I had a 59 Ford. Of course that was in '62. And I was in Alaska in 59/60 and it looked just like that... Great memories.

Great similarities, that year they had a lot of snow and the late spring, in Anchorage every second door was a bar
